I have made these 3 times now...different each time. This recipe seems to work the best!
Granola Bars
2 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. spelt flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. agave nectar
1/4 c. melted butter(going to try apple sauce next time)
1 c. chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, coconut, or dried fruit
Combine oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a bowl and mix.
Add the vanilla, honey, and agave and mix well.
Press the mix evenly into a greased 8x10 pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Before cutting, cool completely.

I always try to make sure I carefully wash all produce that we eat.
Especially store-bought produce, even if it is organic. If you are like
me, you don't...

Wow. That's one to try. They look really good. Do they taste good?
They look too good to be healthy! I'll have to add spelt flour and agave nectar to me grocery list. Thanks, Angie!
The first batch was to sweet, the 2nd was not sweet enough...and this batch seems just right! Very yummy!

These granola bars look so yummy. I don't like to bake much, but my daughter does and she is off to bake them right now. I think we'll try replacing the butter wtih apple sauce or vanilla yogurt. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Angie,
I will certainly have to make those. They look delicious!
Blessings,
Debbie
