It is that time again! The one day I need to reflect on my past week, and take note of my weight loss goals and achievements! And this week I am a bit up. I am doing such a lousy job on my weight loss journey. Up and down, then up again. It was so easy the first time! Why is it so hard this time? Well no matter...It is a new week, and with new goals...or I should say old goals that I just need to keep.
#1 Drink more water! Need to flush the system. I am going to keep a check list on the fridge to help monitor how much I drink.
#2 Go to the gym, I have been slacking...Need to get up and just go! I know I will feel so much better for it!
#3 Measure my food portions. This is a must for carbs...I think they are the culprits of my weight gain! I am just a little bit addicted to fresh bread.
#4 Find time to sit and read the books I borrowed from the library. They are about metabolisms and metabolic typing. I think I have been fearing them as I am sure they will tell me to stay away from bread...but how will I know if I don't read them.
Check out this thread on Blog Frog! I need to be more like Carrie!
By the way I have a community on Blog Frog come visit me to chat!
How are you all doing this week?
Easy Avocado Dressing!

This has definitely become my go to meal this summer, a salad drizzled
with a creamy and zesty avocado dressing. It's actually quite easy and
quick to ma...

I also have been slacking. I need to drink more water and get to the gym myself!
I soooo know what you mean about bread! My status update on facebook the other day was "I can resist a lot of things. Good bread isn't one of them." Hope you have a good strong week this week. And thanks for hosting!
Measuring portions and drinking more water are two things I'm working really hard on this week. It's nice reading that someone else struggles now and then with those as well.
I found you through Blog Frog. I am true believer in drinking lots & lots of water!!! 15 months ago I cut out all soda/pop & drink mainly water. I feel so much better now :)
I hear ya on this one! I workout all the time and eat pretty healthy but my couple of vices (like bread too) seem to keep me from losing the 10lbs I've gained over the last year and a half. (Ugh!!!)
So I am not the only one who doesn't get enough water. I want you all to really try this week. And come back and tell me if you have any good tips to help achieve this goal. I am keeping a check list on the fridge to help. I am going to try to have a glass before each meal and after.
Hi Angie,
I lost 58 pounds before getting pregnant with my DD. I thought I would jump right back on the weight loss wagon, but its been really hard. I've gotten my baby weight off, but I still have a ways to go.
My goal's this week are
1. Workout everyday (even just a 20 min walk)
2. Drink a lot more water
Amen to the books. I have a major test on the 24th and have yet to look at the book.
Remember your journey is a life style change, not a diet and you're learning. Me too. It's not easy at all, I hate the ups but now it's part of the downs. I'm a bit frightened to stand on the scale tomorrow knowing that I've been bad for a couple of weeks. We'll see tomorrow.
Good luck Angie. I know you'll do great. Take care and God Bless!!!
Hi
Fellow redhead here. I found your blog today and loved it! I love your honesty about your weight loss. I love Weight Loss Wednesday and will definitely be watching that. I started my weight loss plan in Jan and to date have lost 27 lbs. I am currently "stuck". Very frustrating. Its an ongoing struggle. I need to find something to get my weight loss going again.
I am also thinking the same because I also like to do workout very much and like to go in gym. Drinking a lot water is always beneficial for everyone that I thinks.
